§16b AufenthG - Students
Beschreibung
Students are only allowed to work for up to 120 days or up to 240 half days per calendar year, as well as to take on student assistant jobs in accordance with § 16b (3) AufenthG. Self-employment and freelance activities are not permitted. This residence permit cannot be issued for part-time and distance studies.
Main requirements:
- Admission to a full-time study program at a state (accredited) higher education institution
- Sufficient financial means (including health insurance)
- Sufficient housing
